Grit

Why does my Finch need "Grit"?

Obviously, finches don't have teeth. The grit helps break-up the food in the crop and gizzard therefore aiding digestion. Plus, much grit has calcium that has a further nutritional benefit. The following are discussions on the topic of the role of grit in your finches' diet.
