Editorial Comment: I know that there you are probably seeing two (2) Amazon orange buy buttons. Regrettably, I truly cannot figure-out why. I have examined my html the code, but still do not see the problem.

In any event, both button take you to the same location. I have elected to leave both: (1) because I cannot figure-out how to remove just one; (2) I think it is sort of hilarious; and (3) I have not had supper and my mother is upset because I have not joined her at the table and I am starving.

Anyway, this is a great book. Zebra Finches were my very first birds and this was my very first finch book. Although the cover is different, and I bet this version has improved pictures.

I hope you are stronger than I am and do not get addicted to these little birds. I definitely went over the deep end (as most of my friend will attest). Zebra Finches are great! Finches, and especially the Zebra Finches, are perfect office pets. They make a quiet chirping sound that is no intrusive, except perhaps when babies are born and are all yelping for food, plus they add just the right amount of nature to what is often the stale office environment. This was especially true in my situation where my office had not windows. I bought the finches a "full spectrum" light for their cage; but I probably benefited more from it than they did.

It is just nice to have a little bit of nature nearby and something to focus on when you need a short distraction. Who know how many co-works were save from a painful death at my hands because I was under the soothing influence of these little folks.

God Bless you and your little birds!
