BREEDER'S COMMENTS: I breed canaries, (looking for a fife hen at the moment) and gouldian finches-mostly normals, although some dilutes I like. Have been breeding finches successfully for 3 yrs. This is my 1st yr for canaries, Have done it "experimentally", just wanted to see how I would do. Have been delightfully surprised and charmed by these birds, and have decided to continue and band all the babies starting in 2000.
